What is PeerTube

PeerTube is a free software video-sharing platform that uses ActivityPub to fuild a network of many different instances. The use of ActivityPub allows the PeerTube network to be part of the wider Fediverse.

Unlike Youtube it doesn't contains ads or tracking. It is developed by the french non-profit organization Framasoft. Instances can optional activate the P2P-technology to discharge their server(s).
